Septic tank pumping
and repair in Northern Nevada.

Most homeowners don't call a septic company until something has already gone wrong. By then the question isn't just what's broken, it's how bad, and what it's going to cost. Marshall's job is to answer both, honestly, on the first visit.

Local specialists

People who know this soil.

We have been digging in this ground since 2013, and we know it well. We have worked Fallon, Churchill County and the greater Reno-Sparks area long enough to know what a property is dealing with before we quote it, and that shapes every assessment we give you.

Customers call Marshall's back because they know what a Marshall's service call looks like. Same standard, same answer to the same question. That consistency is what the name is for.

Save money long-term

Should you install a septic riser?

Every time your tank needs service without a riser, someone has to locate the lid and dig down to reach it. That labor adds to your cost every cycle. A riser brings the access point to ground level permanently, faster service, less disruption to your yard, lower pump-out costs over time. It pays for itself within a few service visits and most customers wish they'd done it sooner. Ask us about adding one at your next appointment.

More septic work we handle.

Pumping is the routine visit. These are the jobs that come out of it.

Sewer camera inspection

A camera down the line finds the break, the blockage or the root intrusion, and tells you exactly where it is before anyone digs.

Drain and main line

When every drain in the house slows at once, the cause is usually the main line or the tank rather than the plumbing inside the walls.

Septic system installation

New systems and replacements, with Marshall's coordinating the job and servicing the system afterwards.

Common questions.

Most Northern Nevada households land on a two to three year interval, though tank size and how many people are on the system move that in both directions. We measure the scum and sludge layers on the first visit and tell you your actual interval rather than a rule of thumb.

Yes. Call us directly for same-day and emergency service, don't use the form for emergencies.

Fallon, Churchill County, Fernley, Reno, Sparks, Dayton, Silver Springs, and the surrounding Northern Nevada region. Call us with your zip if you're not sure.

A full system inspection: baffle and component checks, scum and sludge level assessment, lid location and uncovering, and a written report you can hand to the buyer, seller, or lender.

Price comes down to tank size, how far we travel, and whether the lid has to be located and dug out first. A standard residential tank on a scheduled visit is the low end; an overdue tank at distance with no riser is the high end. We quote before we start, and the quote is what you pay.

Every service starts with a full inspection: locating the system, uncovering the access holes, flushing the toilets and checking for signs of backup, inspecting the baffle, pump and float system, and measuring the scum and sludge layers. Then we pump the tank and finish with an application of bacterial enzyme treatment.

Northern Nevada has several. Conventional, mound, at-grade and in-ground pressure systems are all common here, and we service every one of them.

Pumping empties the tank. Repair is for when something is broken: a cracked or leaking tank, a failed baffle, a damaged lid, a pump or float that has stopped working. If the same problem returns shortly after a pumping, it is usually structural rather than a full tank.
