Commercial & industrial

Grease trap cleaning
for Reno and Northern Nevada.

A neglected grease trap doesn't send a calendar reminder. It sends a backup, often during a Friday dinner service or the week of a health department inspection. Marshall's keeps commercial kitchens, casinos, automotive facilities, and industrial operations across Northern Nevada running clean and compliant, on a schedule worked out with you.

What's at stake

Grease trap maintenance is not optional.

Fats, oils, and grease, FOG, are required by law to be captured before they reach the municipal sewer system. Neglected traps lead to slow kitchen drains, sewer backups, health code violations, and fines that cost far more than consistent maintenance would have. We've seen all of it.

Marshall's handles the full scope: pumping, cleaning, inspection, and the compliance documentation your jurisdiction requires. We do our best to work with you to find a schedule that fits around your service hours.

Industries we serve.

Food service & hospitality

Restaurants, hotel kitchens, casinos, event centers, care facilities, and convenience stores all generate FOG that must be captured before it reaches the sewer system. A failed inspection costs far more than a maintenance contract, and a sewer backup during peak service hours is the kind of problem that follows a reputation.

Liquid waste hauling

Non-hazardous waste you cannot legally put on the ground.

If you have a tank, a pit or a container of non-hazardous liquid waste and no lawful way to get rid of it, that is a call we take regularly. We pump it, haul it, and take it to a permitted disposal site, so the disposal question stops being your problem.

Non-hazardous waste only. If what you have is classified as hazardous we are not the right company for it, and you will hear that on the phone rather than after a truck is already on site.

Service frequency

How often should you clean your grease trap?

There's no universal answer. Your cleaning interval depends on the size of your interceptor, how often it's used, and how many people are working the kitchen. A small lunch counter runs differently than a hotel kitchen, and the schedule should reflect that.

The most reliable way to find your interval is to let us assess your trap condition after the first two or three service visits. The actual accumulation rate tells you exactly how often you need to be on the schedule, no guessing, no unnecessary callouts.

  • Clean compliance records for every health department visit.
  • No surprise backups during peak service hours.
  • Extended equipment life and fewer emergency calls long-term.
  • Odor-free facilities for staff and guests alike.

Not sure where you stand? We offer assessments to evaluate your current trap condition and recommend a service schedule.

How it works

Three steps to a compliance-ready facility.

Step 1

Schedule a service visit

Tell us about your facility type, volume, and when works best for your operation. We'll get you on the schedule.

Step 2

We pump, inspect, document

You don't need to be involved beyond letting us in. We handle the mess and the compliance paperwork.

Step 3

Documentation & next visit

The crew documents the job on site. The office turns that into your service record, sends it through once the invoice is settled, and books your next maintenance visit.

It depends on your interceptor size, how often your kitchen runs, and how many people are using it. We establish your actual interval after the first few service visits based on real accumulation rate, not a generic schedule.
